except unoffical ratings at uschess.org are usually used
for players who would
otherwise be unrated. Current U.S. Chess Federation
membership is required to participate (in any USCF-rated
tournament), and membership dues may be paid when registering for tournament.
Prize Limit $450
for players with
any unofficial post-tournament rating at uschess.org after April 6, 2012
over 30 points over section limit (balance of all limited prizes goes to next
eligible players).
There is a $15 service charge for each player entry fee refund until at least one hour before game time. USCF Membership dues are forwarded to the USCF-- membership dues are not refundable.
